Breakfast Cookies Contributed by Diane S. 2/3 cup butter -- softened 2/3 cup sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 cups oats 1/2 cup wheat germ or bran (I usually use the bran...tastes better) Stir together the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
