Christmas Sucre-A-Creme (Really sweet French Fudge)

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup liquid whipping cream
1 teaspoon maple flavor
1 teaspoon butter
Combine ingredients except butter. Microwave 11 minutes on high (the
mixture will boil). While waiting for the mixture to cook, fill a quarter
of the sink with really cold water (add ice cubes to the water if you like).
Once the mixture is finished cooking put the bowl directly in the cold water
ensuring that no water spills into the bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of butter to
the mixture until it becomes thick. Mixture is thick enough when it wraps
around the spoon. Pour the mixture into buttered 8x8 pan and let stand for
30 minutes.
