Oreo Cookies

Cookie Dough
18 ozs. Devils's Food Cake Mix
2 eggs plus 2 Talbespoons water
2 Tablespoons oil
1/2 cup bitter cocoa powder

Blend all ingredients until you can shape all into a smooth ball.  Let
stand for 20 minutes, loosely covered.  Form ball into marble size balls.
Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.  Flatten with glass that has
been dipped in Nestle's Quick.  Bake 400 degrees for 8 minutes.  Remove
immediately.

Filling
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup Crisco
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 lb. plus 1 cup powdered sugar

Soften gelatin in cold water.  Place in heat proof cup in pan of hat
water until gelatin is transparnet.  Meanwhile beat Crisco til fluffy add
vanilla and sugat little at a time.  Beat gelatin when completely cooled
but, not set up and firm.  When cooled shape in 1 inch balls.  Place filling
in between two bottoms of cookies pressing filling firmly yet gently.
Yield about 4 dozen
