This buttery cookie has melted butterscotch chips stirred in for a special
cut-out cookie flavor.

 Ingredients:

 1 cup butterscotch-flavored chips
 3 cups all-purpose flour
 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
 1 cup Butter, softened
 1 egg
 2 tablespoons milk
 2 teaspoons vanilla
 Decorator sugars
 Frosting

Instructions:

In 1-quart saucepan melt butterscotch chips over low heat, stirring
constantly, until smooth (3 to 5 minutes). Pour into large mixer bowl; add
all remaining ingredients except decorator sugars, powdered sugar and
frosting. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (1 to 2
minutes). Divide dough in half; wrap in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate
until firm (at least 1 hour).

Heat oven to 375°. On lightly floured surface roll out dough, half at a
time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut
with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on baking sheets. If
desired, sprinkle with decorator sugars. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until
edges are lightly browned. Cool completely; frost as desired.
