Cheddar Meatloaf

1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup instant oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups ketchup, divided
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
In a bowl, beat the egg and milk. Stir in 1/2 cup ketchup, cheese,
oats, onion and salt. Add beef and mix well. Shape into loaf and
place in crock pot.
Combine remaining ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves.
Cook in crock for 6 - 8 hours.
This is one of our families favorite recipes. I have also made this in
the oven but it just has a better taste in the crock. Enjoy!
