Almost-Traditional Chocolate Mousse

     3/4  cup           low or non-fat milk
   6      ounces        semisweet chocolate chips
     1/2  cup           egg substitute (or 2 whole eggs)
   2      tablespoons   butter or margarine -- at room temperature
   1      tablespoon    orange zest -- grated
     1/4  cup           strong coffee
   2      tablespoons   orange liqueur
                        nondairy topped or whipped cream -- optional

In a medium saucepan, heat the milk until almost boiling.  Combine the
remaining ingredients except the nondairy topping or whipped cream in a
blender or food processor.  Add the hot milk and whip at high speed until
smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.  Pour into a medium bowl or individual
custard cups, and chill for at least 2  hours before serving.  Garnish with
a rosette of nondairy topping or whipped cream.
