                        Old-Fashioned Pumpkin Pie

  15            ounces  package Pillsbury All Ready Pie Crusts
  1           teaspoon  flour
                        --Filling--
     3/4           cup  sugar
  1 1/2      teaspoons  pumpkin pie spice
     1/2      teaspoon  salt
  16            ounces  pumpkin (2 cups)
  1 1/2           cups  evaporated milk
  2                     eggs -- slightly beaten

Prepare pie crust according to package directions for filled one-crust pie
using a 9-inch pie pan.  (Refrigerate remaining crust for later use.)  Heat
oven to 425F.

In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; blend well.  Pour into pie
crust-lined pan.  Carefully transfer to oven rack.

Bake at 425F for 15 minutes.  Reduce oven temperature to 350F; continue
baking for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out
clean. Cool; refrigerate until serving time.  Serve plain or with whipped
cream.  8 servings.

Tip:  Cover edge of pie crust with strip of foil during last 10 to 15 minutes
of baking if necessary to prevent excessive browning.
