Grilled Flank Steak with Pineapple Salsa
Contributed by Diane S.

2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1-1/2- to 2-lb. flank steak
Pineapple Salsa (See recipe below.)

Preheat the grill to high heat. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients
except the steak; mix well. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the steak.
Grill the steak for 6 to 8 minutes per side for medium, or until desired
doneness. Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices and serve with
Pineapple Salsa for a refreshing zest.

Pineapple Salsa - my personal favorite!!!

1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
1 medium red onion, diced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Juice of 1 lime

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill for at
least 1 hour before serving. Note: This salsa is a must with the steak. Just
mix and chill and you're set! It goes well with grilled chicken and fish as
well.
